Culture of inquiry

Please take a moment to read the recent blog post of Bill Couzins, Founder of Less Cancer. Here’s my favorite line: “People in the United States live under the false impression that if something is legal, it is safe for humans and the environment…. None of this is about panic, but it is about avoiding those products, corporations and NGO’s that do not support your health or the environment. Support that which supports you.”

Every day brings mounting evidence against plastics, food additives and preservatives, household cleaners, and chemicals of all sorts as harmful to your health. Eat real food to protect yourself. Avoid plastics, BPA, phthalates, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate and other chemicals in soaps and cosmetics. And, most importantly, vote with your wallets. When you choose to buy healthful, eco-friendly foods and products, you are sending a clear message to the companies that manufacture the bad stuff. You can make a difference in your own life, but also in the life of all the citizens of this planet.
